“Business” means any entity providing goods and services. May include registered charities and Incorporated societies.
“Publish” means to make a business listing available for viewing by the public.
“Registering” means to apply for a business listing by providing information on your business.
“Porirua” is any address that has a postcode beginning with “502” (including Tawa).
a. These terms set out your obligations relating to accessing and using Tū Kotahi. They highlight that we will do our best to provide a good experience but that Tū Kotahi and any of its associated organisations do not take responsibility for the goods and/or services provided by the businesses listed on this site or any technical glitches that may make the site unavailable.
b. By registering your business on this portal, you accept these terms and acknowledge that they are subject to change at our sole discretion. Changes made will be posted on the website and will be effective immediately.
c. By registering your business on Tū Kotahi you also accept that no responsibility or liability is held by Tū Kotahi, or its associated organisations, for any loss you incur from a third party who has used or misused Tū Kotahi.
d. By searching for a business on this portal, you accept these terms and acknowledge that no responsibility or liability is held by Tū Kotahi, or its associated organisations, for the quality of the goods or services that any listed business provides or fails to provide.
e. You must not damage, interfere with or harm Tū Kotahi or its network in any way. This includes using a robot, spider, frog, scraper, or any other automated means to access Tū Kotahi and its network or any information they hold.
f. In accepting these terms, you are expected to act with honesty and integrity, and you agree to use Tū Kotahi for lawful purposes. Subject to you complying to these terms, we grant you non-exclusive front-end access to Tū Kotahi.
a. The business must have one of the following:
i. a Porirua address as its registered address
ii. an owner who resides in Porirua.
iii. an owner who has a whakapapa to Ngati Toarangatira
b. The information requested for registration must be provided and be true, accurate and not be misleading.
c. Your business must be carrying out legitimate work
d. You have a NZBN (NZ Business Number). Sole traders without a NZBN may be allowed to register if they can provide satisfactory evidence that they are carrying out genuine commercial work. This is at the sole discretion of Tū Kotahi. Tū Kotahi reserves the right to refuse registration to any company without a NZBN.
